Mid-Season in Classic City

Homecoming: UGA vs. Vandy (noon) – The only private school in the SEC, Vanderbilt played in and won a bowl two seasons ago, only to drop to a two-win team last season, terrible even by Commodore standards.

Mid-Season in Athens and we have had a horrible half-year of our own, dropping close games we seemed to have won at Colorado and at home versus Arkansas. We also lost at Miss State and S. Carolina when we forgot to pack an offense for those conference road trips. We beat UT and Louisiana-Lafayette and 2-4 is nothing to laugh at – we must right this ship in the second half of this still young season.

Mid-season awards:

Offensive MVP: QB Aaron Murray (Has exceeded expectations)

Defensive MVP: LB/DE Justin Houston (Leads SEC in sacks)

Special Teams MVP: K Blair Walsh (Has missed only one kick)

Biggest Disappointment: WR AJ Green (Four game suspension)

Hottest Hot Seat: Offensive Coordinator Mike Bobo (Needs a demotion)
