Frustrated at Florida

UGA is a football school with an annual neutral site rivalry game; just that rarity alone ensures the magnitude of this rivalry. And we have some miles to go to catch them in both of the top two men’s sports. The Gators have now swept the Dawgs for the season in college basketball, as they pulled away late and won 71-62 in front of a raucous Florida crowd. Made me happy that we never play football in the Swamp to see how into it they really are in Gainesville these days. But on the other hand, I would love to catch them Between the Hedges every other year instead of in a stadium formerly named the Gator Bowl. Trip to Jacksonville is a good time, and we must win.

Dawgs are a solid bubble team with eighteen wins and nine losses and three games remaining in the regular season. First up is S. Carolina, as Georgia goes for the season sweep in Athens Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Go Dawgs!
